MICA's new Job Coaching program is available to individuals who are looking to both obtain and maintain employment. The program offers comprehensive employment services, including resume assistance and mock job interviews. Individuals also can also become eligible to receive assistance with paying for trainings that increase their employability in select fields. Our job coach works closely with Workforce Development to locate employment opportunities for individuals

But the Job Coaching program doesn't stop with employment. Once, an individual has obtained employment MICA's job coach is still there to assist them in maintaining employment long-term. Funds are available to help pay for clothing that is required for certain positions, such as steel-toed boots. Individuals are also able to continue to develop skills and find out the best practices when it comes to maintaining a job long term through their job coach. Currently, the program is offered in Marshall and Tama County.
