Nurse  - Ames, IA

 

Part-time position providing nursing services for our Maternal Health Program in Ames, IA.  Identifies, plans and provides for Maternal Health needs.   Position requirements:

  • BS degree in Nursing
  • Professional experience in public health field
  • No less than 3 years experience in Maternal & Child Health field
  • Possession of a valid Iowa License as a Registered Nurse

Family Development Specialist - Tama County

 

Full-time position coordinating services to families in Tama County.  BA/BS in Family/Human Services, Social Work or related field requied.

Housing Auditor or Final Inspector - Marshalltown

 

Two positions available with MICA's Weatherization Department.  Specify position applying for.  Completes testing on homes with specialized equipment to ensure homes are safe, work is completed following state standards to ensure Energy Efficiency.   Auditor will also perform safety testing on all gas appliances. 

 

One year on the job experience in carpentry or related trade, knowledge of energy consumption, combustionable appliances and safety in residential housing and High school diploma or GED required. 

 

In addition, some computer skills, people skills, writing and math skills, proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English and valid driver's license required.
