With unemployment continuing to rise in Iowa, MICA is responding to local needs by offering dental care for dislocated workers. For workers who have recently lost their job or taken a drastic pay cut, MICA is now offering quality, affordable dental care.

The program provides dislocated workers and their families with dental services worth up to $200 (or more if deemed necessary) at the Story County Dental Clinic. The SCDC offers a variety of services, including cleanings, exams, x-rays, fillings, basic extractions, and even root canals.

Applications for dental services are offered through your local Family Development Center.
